Ignite Youth Group
Ignite is the Middle School youth ministry here at The Rock Church. The vision for this ministry is to Ignite a passion for a relationship with God. We want to challenge the students thinking and stir a desire within them to have a personal relationship with Jesus. We enjoy games, food, and blend humor into our talks to create an environment for open discussion. We also have regular events that build friendships and trust. We gear the class and everything we do in a way that is relevant and current to the culture and needs of the middle school youth. In addition to weekly meetings we have events like bonfires, concerts, sports, weekend trips, and just hanging out.

Here is what is coming up for Ignite:
March
March 15 (3pm)-March 16(1pm) – We will be having a Winter Retreat. This will be an overnight event. We will be playing games, having devotionals, and a service Friday night. The price will be $15/student (includes food). If you have a sled and broom at your disposal, please have them bring it.I have attached an items checklist and a list of students that RSVP’d before. Let me know if your child is still able to make it, and if your child is not on here but wants to come.
Items to bring:
Sleeping bag & pillow
Bible
Winter gear (we will be doing a fair amount of outside activities)
Plenty of clothes
A sled (not a necessity)
A broom
Athletic shoes (something comfortable to run in)
March 22 from 6:00-11:30 – We will be going to New Life church in Biddeford for an Audio Adrenaline concert. Group 1 Crew, Seventh Day Slumber, and Manic Drive will be performing as well. We will be leaving the church at 6pm and arriving back at the church at about 11:30pm. If you would like to pick your child up from the New Life church earlier than that you can do that. The cost will be $20/student. Please RSVP no later than February 27th..
