Anna Yanez

Executive Administrator

I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was just four years old, and to this day, I can still remember the joy and peace of that moment. It was the beginning of a lifelong walk with the Lord—a journey that has been marked by His faithfulness every step of the way. My favorite verse, Psalm 34:4, says, “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” That verse has been an anchor in both the everyday moments and the unexpected ones.

I joined the staff in 2019 and currently serve as the Executive Administrator. In this role, I get to bring order to the behind-the-scenes chaos and make sure the day-to-day operations of our church run smoothly. I love creating systems that serve people well, supporting our team, and helping make ministry happen in practical ways. It’s a role that keeps me on my toes—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Originally from Poughkeepsie, NY my husband and I moved to Maine in July 2015. I have since fallen in love with its beauty, seasons, and less traffic. One thing that I still insist on to this day is that the best pizza and bagels only come from New York. Thankfully, my husband Josh has become a pro with our pizza oven, so the good stuff is never too far away.

I’ve been married to Josh since June of 2015, and together we’re raising two amazing daughters, Lily and Eden. They keep life full of laughter, learning, and love—and remind me daily of God’s grace and creativity.

I consider it a privilege to serve in a church where people are passionate about Jesus, one another, and making a real impact in their communities. I believe deeply in the power of what happens behind the scenes—and I’m honored to play a part in what God is doing here.

Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 34:4 “I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.”

Favorite Way to Spend the Day Off: The day has to start with a nice home cooked breakfast and cup of coffee from my husband. Our favorite place to go as a family is to Smiling Hill Farm. I love just not having to rush out of the house and enjoy the outdoors with really good coffee with my family.

Family Pet: We have a dog name Santiago, “Santi” for short and he is really our first baby!

Biggest Pet Peeve: Too many to list!

Education: I have an associates degree in liberal arts and humanities from Dutchess Community College in NY and a Bachelors Degree in both Bible Theology and Worship & Music Ministry from Northpoint Bible College in MA.
