I’ve had the honor of serving on staff of The Rock Church since 2013, and it’s been an incredible journey watching God move in and through our church community. Over the years, I’ve learned that ministry isn’t just about the big moments—it’s found in the steady, faithful, everyday acts of service, prayer, and connection. I count it a privilege to be part of a team that’s committed to loving people well and pointing them to Jesus.
I’m originally from Nashua, New Hampshire, but my journey has taken me through a few places before calling Maine home. I moved from Vermont to Portland in 1981 to work as an air traffic controller at the Portland Jetport.
Though I grew up in the Catholic Church, everything changed for me in 1975 while I was in Crestview, Florida. That’s where I truly came to know Jesus and surrendered my life to Him. Since then, God has taken me on an incredible path of growth and service. I deepened my Biblical foundation through studies with Berean School of the Bible, and hands-on ministry training at Windham Assembly of God in Windham, Maine, beginning in 1986. Those early years in ministry shaped not just my understanding of God’s Word, but my heart for people.
I’m married to my amazing wife, Kathryn, and together we’ve built a life rooted in faith, family, and plenty of homegrown vegetables. When I’m not serving at the church, you’ll likely find me in the garden, getting my hands in the dirt and enjoying the quiet, simple joy of watching things grow. There’s something about gardening that reflects God’s heart—planting seeds, tending to them, and trusting Him with the growth.
As far as food goes, I’m a classic guy—give me a perfectly grilled steak and a slice of homemade apple pie, and I’m a happy man. It’s the little things that go a long way.
My heart is to see people experience the peace, purpose, and presence of God in every season of life. Whether it’s through a conversation, a prayer, or simply being available, I believe God uses us all in different ways to build His Kingdom—and I’m grateful to be part of that mission.
