Prayer Ministry at The Rock

We believe prayer is how we connect with the heart of God. It’s not about having the right words or perfect timing. It’s about showing up, listening, speaking honestly, and learning to walk in step with the Spirit.

We’re committed to being a church that prays. For our city. For one another. For the world. And for God's Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Why we exist

We exist to seek God’s heart and stand in faith for others through prayer. 

what we do

We use the gift of prayer to create spaces where people can encounter God, experience His presence, and receive hope, healing, and encouragement. 

Prayer Room Schedule

Join us in the Prayer Room! These are corporate prayer gatherings where our only agenda is to minister to the heart of our Savior. 

Prayer Rooms are held weekly but may be canceled due to holidays, building closures, or other church events. For a full list of exact dates CLICK HERE.

Get Involved

Being part of the Prayer Ministry is a sacred calling to stand in the gap for others and seek God’s heart through prayer. We create space for people to encounter His presence, peace, and power. Our role is to listen, encourage, and intercede with compassion and faith, always pointing others back to Jesus.

Join the Prayer Team!

Requirements

  • You must be in high school or older to serve with this team.
  • You must attend The Rock Church for two months before serving with this team.
  • You must be background checked. (18+ only)

Steps to Join

  • Fill out the Serve With The Rock Form
  • Fill out The Rock Leadership Application
  • Complete a Background check (18+ only) 
  • Complete an interview with the staff oversight
  • Participate in training
  • Review Prayer Team Handbook
  • Sign Serve Teams Commitment Form
